Ethereum Classic GPU mining setup

Set up Ethereum Classic mining on a supported NVIDIA or AMD GPU using Etchash.

Open GPU setup Check pool availability

1. Check your GPU and driver

The current DAG needs sufficient free GPU memory; the wizard checks the live requirement. Use Rigel for supported NVIDIA GPUs or a compatible AMD miner. Miner support varies for newer Radeon RX 9000 GPUs.

Install or update a driver when the GPU is not detected or the selected miner requires a newer version. A working compatible driver usually does not need reinstalling.

2. Add a receiving wallet

Use an address that accepts native ETC on Ethereum Classic. Although ETC addresses start with 0x, an Ethereum or Base deposit destination is not interchangeable with an ETC deposit route.

Enter only the public receiving address. The launcher does not need a seed phrase or private key. Confirm the deposit network and minimum with your wallet provider.

3. Download and open setup

Download the GPU setup ZIP, extract the whole folder, then open Start IntelligentPool.vbs on Windows. On Linux, run bash "Start IntelligentPool.sh" in the extracted folder. The graphical wizard walks through the remaining settings.

Choose the coin and GPU, add the receiving address, and select the publisher's compatible miner executable. Download the miner from its official source and keep its full extracted folder. Mining tools may trigger security warnings; review the software sources and mining risks before running.

4. Start and verify mining

Finish preparation, select Start, and keep the dashboard open. Look for pool-confirmed accepted work. A running process or GPU utilization alone does not prove accepted work. Mining starts only when you choose it.

The launcher bridges the miner's local Stratum connection to the pool over encrypted WSS. Do not point a remote miner at your computer's localhost address. Below three independent active users, mining uses solo assignment; pooled assignment is automatic when the minimum is met.

Rewards and payouts

The fee is 2% of mature rewards. The minimum payout is 0.1 ETC. Network fees come from the pool fee reserve. Unpaid balances carry forward without expiry and stay tied to the coin, account and receiving address.

Shares are not coins. A valid block must be recognized on the native chain and mature before earned rewards can be paid. View your rewards and payments using your saved rig file.

If the miner stops

ETC uses Etchash, not Ethereum proof-of-stake mining. Check the exact algorithm and network selected in both the miner and receiving service.

Check the dashboard and miner-output.txt for the actual error. Review the selected executable, wallet network, GPU driver and preparation status before restarting.
