Technology news, city by city.

Follow recent technology headlines that name a specific US city or metro area. Regional coverage rotates so the busiest hubs do not take every spot.

How coverage is selected

Free Google News RSS feeds are checked automatically every 30 minutes for one city in each of six US regions. The 54-place rotation covers cities across the country. Coverage depends on available reporting; every city is not guaranteed a story.

A story must have a source date within seven days, a matching technology topic and a city name in its headline. State-only mentions do not qualify. A headline match is not proof that an event happened there. Ambiguous names use additional context, and automated matching can still make mistakes.

We remove duplicate headlines, favor GPU hardware, infrastructure and security topics within each rotating region, limit repeated publishers and cities, and keep publication dates separate from the time we checked the feed. Older cache results are labeled when updates fail. We show headlines and links, not copied full articles or publisher photographs.

GPUs & chips

Hardware announcements can affect compatibility and availability. Check actual GPU and driver requirements.
