GPU miner disconnected? Check recovery before restarting

A brief internet, pool or computer interruption does not necessarily mean your mining session has ended. The current IntelligentPool launcher retries recoverable connection errors while the session remains active.
First, identify the last confirmed step
- Check whether the launcher still shows an active session and whether you selected Stop.
- Read the connection status and the actual error in the miner output. A running GPU is not proof of pool-confirmed work.
- Check pool availability and your internet connection.
- Once connectivity returns, look for new pool-confirmed accepted work. Do not infer successful recovery from a reconnect message alone.
Temporary connection errors
A brief network outage, a restarted transport or temporary pool unavailability can trigger automatic retries. Keep the launcher open and avoid repeatedly pressing Start or creating duplicate miners. Recovery depends on the connection and compatible miner returning to a usable state; uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Errors that need attention
Authorization failures, revoked credentials, an invalid wallet network, an unsupported GPU/miner combination and missing or blocked files require their actual cause to be corrected. Reconnecting cannot repair these conditions. Read the error and review software sources and security guidance; do not disable protections to hide a detection.
Stop and computer restart
Stop ends the requested mining session. Closing the launcher or powering down the computer ends that local mining process. Automatic recovery during an active session is different from permission to start a new session after you have stopped it. A computer restart may require reopening the launcher and choosing Start.
Recover the right account and coin
Keep your saved rig credentials private and use your own receiving addresses. Different coins have separate balances. PRL uses its dedicated launcher and pooled mining; the other pool assignments follow the published participation rules. A disconnect does not turn accepted shares into a block or erase a recorded unpaid balance.
